Giveaway! Bobbi Brown Living Beauty by Bobbi Brown with Marie Clare Katigbak

Bobbi Brown began the trend toward natural-looking cosmetics with a simple philosophy: Women want to look and feel like themselves, only prettier and more confident. Today, top editors at elite fashion magazines--including In Style, Vogue, Allure, and Harpers Bazaar--revere her, and celebrities and millions of regular women throughout the world swear by her beauty advice.

Now Bobbi Brown has written THE book redefining beauty for women over 40. In this refreshing look at beauty and aging, Bobbi offers specific makeup tricks for a stunning face--showing how makeup can solve most of the flaws that many women go under the knife to fix. In fact, the right makeup can create an even skin tone, lift the cheeks, plump a smile...even take years off any woman's face. The key is to use makeup to enhance each woman's best features and showcase her natural beauty.

With step-by-step makeup instructions and quotes from beautiful women like Marcia Gay Harden, Vera Wang, Susan Sarandon, and Lorraine Bracco, Bobbi Browns natural, celebratory approach to aging will enlighten and inspire women everywhere.

My Review:
The best way I can describe this heavy volume is to list the chapter titles:
The Living Beauty Philosophy
Role Models, Skin Savers
The Makeup Face-lift
Your Crowning Glory
Instant Update, Menopause
The Real Fountain of Youth
Head-to-toe Makeovers
Beautiful Inside and Out
Create Your New Ideal

That's a comprehensive list, and this is a book that every woman interested in aging gracefully would appreciate owning. The author states, "It's not about looking younger, it's about looking as great as you can look for your age" (21).

Stunning glossy full-page color photographs of celebrities and products by Henry Leutwyler accompany step-by-step tips.

I'm looking forward to reading this and am glad I won. I'll let you know what I think of it after I receive and read it.

ps I am wondering if you will be reviewing two books that I'm interested in reading. "The Help" and "Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure"--not sure the title on the HT book is exactly correct. I've seen brief reviews in the newspaper on both of those and they piqued my interest.
