1. Do you get to read as much as you WANT to read? (I’m guessing #1 is an easy question for everyone.)2. If you had (magically) more time to read–what would you read? Something educational? Classic? Comfort Reading? Escapism? Magazines?

Since I am retired, I do have more time to read. And yet, I would like to have even more time to read, and with more reading time, I'd read exactly what I choose to read when I do have time. In other words, I'd read novels, primarily Christian Fiction novels. I'd guess that would fall under the category of comfort reading.
How about you? If you had more time, would you spend it reading?

You're lucky to be retiring, cause you get to have more times to read then I would be. I chose to re-read old favorite series book if I could. I love series book :)

Happy BTT! I think it is interesting that 'comfort reading' means something different to each individual. I would love to be able to spend all day reading though!
I guess you could call my to-read-pile to mostly have comfort reading in it. Fantasy and historical non-fiction for me, please.
That's great that you have more time to read, but I wonder if any reader will say that they need less time to read or evn that they have enough.
I have noticed that my retired friends and family seem to have *less* time than I do (still working)!
I think that 'comfort reading' (whatever it means to the individual) is the best!

I think as we read more, we discover more books that we want to read, so it's a vicious cycle.
I don't think anyone ever has enough time to read. None of us are ever satsifed. LOL
Me, too - I have just about as much time to read as I want. But I guess I'd have even more time if I wasn't so addicted to blogging!

I'm looking forward to retiring for precisely that reason: more time to read. I'm just worried that by then I won't be able to see the print so well!
I will probably always want more time to read.
I've got about 2 hours a day to read as of now, but I'd like to double that please!?!?
I think though that I'll never be satisfied with the ammount of time I get to read.

Never enough time to spend with books...
Sometimes I read to much to the detriment of my housework. That being said, I'm not going to stop reading, I just need to find more balance. Too much to do, not enough time!
I'm looking forward to retiring....but it's a long way.
I usually read two hours over breakfast every morning, taking my time and sitting at the sunniest spot at my neighborhood coffee shop. (It's San Francisco...everyone has their coffee at the cafes). Then I'll slip in some reading time when no students come for office hour. I'll read a bit more at home in the evening since I don't watch much TV.
My favorite comfort reading is Pride and Prejudice. In fact, I think it's just about time for a reread. Happy BTT!
